How You Can Help

ERRWolfLake8x10inches

The pARTners For Wolf Lake project was created to raise awareness to save a beautiful location from mining and other potential and destructive activities, not just for the recreation of canoeists and campers, but also to save the world’s largest Red Pine, old-growth forest. (For more information on Wolf Lake, please see www.SaveWolfLake.org.)

To do this, the pARTners are planning on exhibiting artwork created and inspired by the Wolf Lake area. All of us involved in the project strongly believe that by showing this artwork is the best way to show the beauty of what could be lost if the Wolf Lake area is not saved. And as an added bonus, the created pieces have been generously donated by our participating artists, with the proceeds of sales going to help save Wolf Lake.

However, in order to accomplish our goal with a very limited budget, we’re relying on the volunteering efforts of those involved in the project, and of course could always use another hand.

What we need are places to exhibit, and the means to transport the art pieces to and from these places. We are calling out for anyone with any skills, knowledge or networks that would help accomplish our mission. So please contact us if you can provide us with anything to help our exhibit, such as:

  • You own, manage or can contact someone from a gallery in Ontario that might be willing to hold an exhibit of the pARTners For Wolf Lake.
  • You have knowledge or resources for transporting works of art – mainly framed paintings and photographic prints.
  • You’d be willing to volunteer some time to help with the exhibits in your area or transporting or storing the artwork to and from exhibit locations.
  • Funds for things like promotional materials, transportation costs etc.

But at the very least, we hope that you can take a moment and share this message with your friends. You can do so easily with the buttons below.

Thank you in advance,

the pARTners For Wolf Lake Committee
